I photograph a number of assignments for construction firm Sir Robert McAlpine. Here we had an early start at 6am to spend the morning documenting their tower crane team working at the new Peninsula Hotel next to Wellington Arch in London. We followed the team in their work on site putting up one of the 5 tower cranes at the site, each were situated at each corner of the site.
The new Hotel is part of the Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels group and will be one of the most prestigious hotels in London when the project is completed.
