Event, Conference & Commercial Photographer in Manchester and the North West

Commercial photographer for businesses, marketing and communications teams, and brands, with a focus on corporate events and conferences. Based in Lancashire, covering Manchester and the North West. I help organisations tell their story through strong, accurate photography: events and conferences covered from start to finish, corporate portraits for your website and team pages, and images for marketing and communications. I also photograph architecture, construction and industrial sites, and my aerial and drone imagery and footage capture sites, buildings and land from a fresh perspective. I bring a considered, professional approach to every shoot, and I’m always keen to build new relationships on interesting projects and assignments.

  • I'm based in Lancashire and cover Manchester and the North West as standard, including Liverpool, and I regularly work in London. I'm happy to travel further afield for the right project.

  • Businesses, marketing and communications teams and brands, as well as construction firms and architects, including Porsche, Sir Robert McAlpine, ITV and Brewdog. Projects range from single-site shoots to ongoing coverage across multiple locations.

  • Yes. I hold a CAA A2 CofC (Certificate of Competency), along with a registered operator ID and flyer ID. All aerial work is covered by dedicated drone liability insurance, with every flight preceded by a site-specific risk assessment and airspace check.

  • Aerial drone video is part of my aerial service. For other video, I can bring in specialist videographers to work alongside me, so you have one point of contact for the booking.

  • I charge by the half day or full day, and every project is quoted individually, so get in touch with a brief and I'll put together a tailored quote. Prices start from £600 + VAT plus travel.

Standard licensing covers usage for your business, and a full buyout of the images is available if you need unrestricted rights. I'm also happy to sign an NDA before a shoot, for confidential projects and sensitive assignments.

  • Get in touch with a bit of detail about your project — location, type of shoot, and timeframe — and I'll follow up with availability and a quote. You can email me on info@martynhicks.com or call on 07966 535596
